Zoretići su naselje u Hrvatskoj u općini Jelenju. Nalaze se u Primorsko-goranskoj županiji.
Zemljopis
Nalazi se na sjevernoj obali rijeke Rječine. Sjeverozapadno su Kukuljani, južno preko rijeke Trnovica, jugoistočno su Milaši, Brnelići, Ratulje, Martinovo Selo, Lubarska, Jelenje i Baštijani. Zapadno preko rijeke su Marčelji, jugozapadno su Ronjgi i Saršoni.
Povijest

Ocean Beach Pier with Rocks
Did you know that original purpose of the Ocean Beach pier was for fishing? Local Ocean Beach fishermen needed a way to prevent their fishing lines and lures from getting tangled in the vast kelp and rock beds that lie near the surface of the water near the shores. With the construction of the OB Pier, anglers are able to fish in 25-30 feet of water, avoiding most of the shoreline kelp and enabling them to catch species of fish that live in deeper waters.

Animals and people lived inside to give heat to the room, which made its windows small and facing south.
The roof is made of straw and has to be renewed every so often, about five years, which makes maintenance difficult due to the work and the scarcity of straw.

In fact, the customs were moved to the merchandise port of the Free Zone, since with the growth of the city this building, which housed the old Customs for more than half a century, had been left in the middle of the tourist area.

Casa Milà, popularly called La Pedrera ("quarry" in Catalan), is a modernist building by the architect Antoni Gaudí, built between 1906 and 1910 in the Ensanche district of Barcelona, at number 92 Paseo de Funny. The house was built on behalf of the couple Pedro Milá y Camps and Rosario Segimon, and Gaudí had the collaboration of his assistants Josep Maria Jujol, Domingo Sugrañes, Francesc Quintana, Jaume Bayó, Juan Rubió, Enrique Nieto and José Canaleta, as well as the builder Josep Bayó i Font, who had worked with Gaudí on Casa Batlló. Since its opening to the public in 1987, it has received more than 20 million visits (approximately one million each year), making it one of the ten most visited places in Barcelona. In 2016 it received 1.2 million visitors, making it the eighth most visited monument in Spain.
Casa Milà is a reflection of Gaudí's artistic plenitude: it belongs to his naturalistic period (first decade of the 20th century), a period in which the architect perfected his personal style, drawing inspiration from the organic forms of nature, for what he put into practiced a whole series of new structural solutions originating from the profound analyzes carried out by Gaudí on regulated geometry. To this the Catalan artist adds great creative freedom and imaginative ornamental creation: starting from a certain baroque style, his works acquire great structural richness, shapes and volumes devoid of rationalist rigidity or any classical premise.
Since 2013, Casa Milà has been property of the Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera, which is in charge of organizing exhibitions, activities and visits.

Athens - January 2024 (778)
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. Athens dominates the Attica region and is one of the world's oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning over 3,400 years and its earliest human presence starting somewhere between the 11th and 7th millennium BCE.
One of the most ancient cities of the world, Athens Greece is famous as the birthplace of democracy. With a history of over 3,000 years, Athens is the best town for sightseeing.
In 1834, it became the capital of the modern Greek state and in two centuries since it has become an attractive modern metropolis with unrivalled charm.
Athens is the birthplace of democracy and home to some truly epic archaeological sites, but you already knew that. Yes, the Acropolis is magnificent, but the coolest things in the bustling Greek capital are sometimes right where you least expect them.
Greece, officially the Hellenic Republic, historically also known as Hellas, is a country in Southern Europe with a population of approximately 11 million as of 2016. Athens is the nation's capital and largest city, followed by Thessaloniki.

This handsome male Blue Bunting was seen and photographed in San Agustinillo along the Oaxaca coast on south west Mexico . It was hanging with a female Blue Bunting and a male Orange Breasted Bunting,...I had the good fortune to see them on a variety of days and certainly added to the super vacation time spent here along this coastline. Blue Buntings are fairly common in the dense thickets and woodland edges of Mexico and northern Central America.

Northern Hawk Owl
Finally this season's FIRST owl encounter, its been a quiet winter to date with very few visitors from the Boreal regions of Canada. I got word of this one in the "neighborhood" , relatively close drive for me so I went to spend a little time with it when the light wasnt harsh. I spent a little time with it and left it as I had found it...we get to see these usually a couple times a winter in the region of the province that I love in and their visits are much cherished! They're such a unique owl species, I LOVE seeing and photographing them , even if all I manage are static photos of them! Beautiful owls arent they!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
